06-10-25 Scotch has come to us from a breeder to find his perfect retirement home, and this wonderful older gentleman truly deserves the very best. He has spent his life giving so much, and now it’s finally his turn to be loved, cherished, and spoiled like the treasure he is.

Scotch is an incredible little boy who just wants to be loved, cuddled, and adored. Offer him a gentle fuss and he simply melts into you, he’s that sweet! He’s a dog who will capture hearts wherever he goes, and he’ll make the most wonderful companion for a kind and loving family ready to give him all the love and TLC he’s missed out on.

He’s confident enough that he could be homed as an only dog in the right circumstances as long as his adopters were around most of the time, but he would also be happy living with canine friends. That said, he can be a bit too enthusiastic around the ladies at the moment, so gentle introductions will be needed while he learns some manners.

We don’t think Scotch has ever lived in a home before, so everything will be new to him and his adopters will need to be kind, gentle, and understanding as he learns new skills like house training and walking on a lead.

Scotch has some patchy fur at the moment and has an age related cataract in his right eye, but he doesn't let any of this slow him down. He has had a dental and had his remaining teeth extracted so will need a soft food diet.
