I am clean in my foster home, but may need a few reminders!

  • Medical issues

Pip, is a gorgeous, gentle collie who came to us from a loving home through no fault of her own. She was well cared for and very much loved, and now she’s looking for a family who can give her the same attention, fun, and routine she’s used to.

Pip has been in foster for a few months now, and has settled beautifully and shown what a bright, playful, and confident girl she is. She walks calmly on her harness in urban environments, is relaxed around traffic, bikes, joggers, and busy streets, and happily accompanies her foster family to cafés and pubs without fuss. Pip loves her toy box at home, rummaging for her “best” toy to keep herself entertained, and enjoys puzzle games, working on a kong, or a good game of fetch in the garden. She even enjoys herding-style activities and agility obstacles, showing her intelligence and athleticism.

Pip is fully house-trained, but may need some reminders in her new home, sleeps downstairs and settles well in the evenings, and can be left alone for short periods. She enjoys plenty of exercise and mental stimulation, including at least two long walks a day, and is happiest when she has enrichment toys and playtime. She is confident and independent enough to be the only dog in the home but would also enjoy the company of another confident, playful dog.

Pip already knows a wide range of commands and tricks, including sit, paw, come, leave it, stay, kisses, up, in, and over. She learns quickly, loves training, and will thrive in a home that can continue to engage her clever mind. She has a very high prey drive and cannot be let off lead in public spaces; she cannot live with cats, small furries, or livestock. A secure garden or access to a safe dog field is essential.

Pip is playful, affectionate, and intelligent, and she would thrive in an active home that can provide plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and fun. She would do well with older children experienced with high-energy breeds and a family who can appreciate her energy, enthusiasm, and loving personality.

Pip is ready to find a home where she can be busy, loved, and fully appreciated for the wonderful, confident, and playful girl she is.
