Hudson
13-10-25 Hudson is a quiet, gentle soul who has come to us from a breeder. He’s a sweet boy who desperately wants to trust, but he’s still very shy and lacking in confidence. Hudson will need a kind and patient home with a resident dog who can help show him the ropes and teach him that the world isn’t such a scary place.
As he’s never lived in a home before, Hudson will need understanding adopters who can gently guide him as he learns about house training, lead walking, and the comforts of family life. He would be happiest in a calm environment, and could live with older, dog-savvy teenagers who respect his space.
Hudson has come to us with cauliflower ears and patchy fur on his rear end that does not seem to bother him. He is a little underweight and will benefit from a healthy diet (and plenty of treats!) to help him reach a healthy weight. She has a gunky eye and is being treated for dry eye. Hudson had 9 teeth extracted at the time of his neuter and the vet noted he was already missing several.
Hudson is easy to handle and has a lovely, gentle nature. What he needs most now is time, reassurance, and a warm, cozy spot on the sofa where he can spend his golden years feeling safe and loved.
