  • Human family requirements

I need an adult-only home where I can feel safe and loved.

  • Other pet requirements

I need a resident dog to help me feel safe. I've never met cats so I'm unsure!

  • House and garden requirements

I’m frightened and will need a secure garden to learn about being outside.

  • Out and about requirements

I am too scared to go out for walks right now and will need a careful introduction.

  • Training needs

I’ve never lived in a home, so I need to learn housetraining and lead walking.

  • Medical issues

I have Grade 1 luxating patellas, which may improve with gentle exercise.

14-10-25 Tulsa is a very scared and nervous Pomeranian who has come to us from a breeder in Ireland. Although nervous, she is easy to handle and will allow us to pick her up. She has arrived with a shorter coat than we expected of a Pomeranian, so we are unsure whether she is a Crossbreed or if she has simply been shaven. Regardless, she is very cute.

At the moment, Tulsa is feeling very nervous and is finding comfort in the company of her kennel friends. We feel it would be best for her to be rehomed with another dog for support and companionship. Ideally, a nice, confident pooch that can help her along.

As Tulsa has never lived in a home before, she will need to learn all about house training, lead training, and other basics of home life.

We are looking for an adult-only home for Tulsa so that she can relax and settle into her new surroundings without too much hustle and bustle.

Tulsa's coat is currently very thin and balding in places, but with a nutritious diet, regular grooming, and gentle exercise, we hope to see significant improvement. Our vet has also noted that she has Grade 1 luxating patellas, she does hop from time to time, but no action is required at the moment and this may improve with gentle exercise as she builds muscle.

She has every chance of becoming a wonderful companion; she just needs a little time, patience, and trust to truly thrive

Tulsa has been given the Gift of Life by Christine Griffiths.
