14-10-25 Lotus is a sweet and gentle girl who has come to us from a breeder and is now ready to find her forever home. She’s a little shy and lacks confidence at the moment, but with time, love, and patience, her wonderful personality will begin to shine through.

Lotus would really benefit from having a kind, confident resident dog in her new home to help her come out of her shell and show her how lovely life can be. She is easy to handle and, once she feels safe, will settle in beautifully. She has met some cats around the rescue and was fine with them so may be able to live with a dog savvy cat.

She can live with older, dog-savvy children who will give her space as she adjusts to her new surroundings. As Lotus has never lived in a home before, she will need to learn the basics such as house training and how to walk on a lead, but she’s eager to learn and will thrive with gentle guidance.

Lotus has come to us with a cauliflower ear on the left, this does not seem to bother her, and she will be spayed before adoption. She has a low grade patella luxation that may improve with gentle exercise.

With her soft nature and loving heart, Lotus has all the makings of a loyal and affectionate companion. She just needs a patient family who will give her the time and reassurance she needs to bloom into the confident, happy dog she’s meant to be.
