16-10-25 Ebony is a sweet but timid little soul who has come to us from a breeder. She often buries herself in her bed and hides when approached, but when she’s around friends, she truly comes to life!

Ebony hasn’t had much formal handling, so she will need time and patience to learn kindness and trust. Being so young, we are hopeful she will gradually come out of her shell. Everything is new to her, and while her initial shyness can be heartbreaking, with love, consistency, and understanding, she has the potential to blossom into a confident and joyful companion.

For Ebony to thrive, she will need an adult-only home where she can settle in at her own pace. She will also need a calm, resident dog to help guide her and provide reassurance as she adjusts. Ebony will need to learn the basics of home life, and her adopters must agree to have her spayed. Puppy training classes and socialization will also help her gain confidence once she has settled.

With the right home, patience, and gentle guidance, Ebony is sure to flourish into the loving, happy dog she is meant to be.
