Tootsie Roll
17-10-25 Tootsie Roll has come to us from a breeder and is a very worried little girl who is still learning that people can be kind. At first, she can freeze and crouch down when approached, unsure of what to expect, but once she is in your arms, she begins to settle and relax. She has a very sweet nature and, with time and patience, will start to show her loving personality.
Tootsie Roll absolutely loves the company of other dogs and can often be found cuddled up with them for comfort. She will need a kind and confident resident dog in her new home to help her feel safe and to show her the ropes of living in a home. Having a gentle role model will really help her build her confidence and learn how wonderful life can be.
She has never lived in a home before, so everything will be new for her. Her adopters will need to be patient and understanding as she learns all the basics, including housetraining, walking on a lead, and getting used to the everyday sights and sounds of home life.
Tootsie Roll has come to us with a low grade left patella luxation that may get better with gentle exercise.
Tootsie Roll will need an adult-only, calm home where she can take things at her own pace. Once she feels secure, she will blossom into a loving and loyal little companion. With kindness, patience, and gentle reassurance, this special girl will slowly learn to trust and enjoy the comfort and companionship of her forever family.
She has had 4 teeth extracted at the time of her spay.
Tootsie Roll has been given the Gift of Life by Ann Fry
