21-10-25 Teacake is a sweet little girl who has come to us from a breeder to begin her new life. She’s a nervous soul who finds the world quite overwhelming right now. Around her canine friends in the kennel, she feels a little braver and is easy to pick up and handle, but when she’s on her own, she tends to shy away and tremble like a leaf.

Teacake will need a kind and confident resident dog in her new home to help her find her paws and show her that life can be safe and full of love. She could live with older, dog-savvy children who understand that she needs space and time to build her confidence at her own pace.

As she has never lived in a home before, everything will be brand new for Teacake, from house training to walking on a lead. Gentle encouragement, patience, and a few quiet sniffs in the garden will help her begin to learn and grow.

Teacake has been spayed and had 2 pea sized mammary lumps removed at the same time. She has also had one tooth extracted. She has recently had another surgery to remove a lump on the left side, about the size of a pea, from the last gland. A small cyst on the third gland on the left side was also removed.

With time, love, and reassurance, Teacake will start to realise that she is finally safe. We hope that in the warmth of a kind home, this shy girl will begin to blossom and show the loving, gentle nature that lies beneath her nerves.
