  • Human family requirements

I need a calm and quiet home where I can settle in at my own pace.

  • Other pet requirements

I need a resident dog to help me settle in and I cannot live with cats.

  • House and garden requirements

I would like a secure garden to spend time in.

  • Out and about requirements

I haven't tried walks just yet and will find this a bit overwhelming at the moment.

  • Training needs

I have never lived in a home so I will need help to learn house training.

  • Medical issues

I have been neutered and am ready for my forever home.

01-11-25 Mckenzie has come to us from a breeder to find his forever home. He’s a young boy with his whole life ahead of him, but so far he hasn’t seen much of the world and hasn't had much socialisation. Everything is still very new and a little scary for him, so he’s feeling quite worried at the moment and tends to run away from people when unsure. Despite this, once he’s in your arms, he settles and is easy to handle.

Mckenzie will need a calm and quiet home with patient adopters who can give him the time and space he needs to build trust at his own pace. He’ll also need another kind and confident resident dog to take him under their wing and show him that humans can be kind and that life can be full of fun and love. He cannot live with cats or small furries.

As Mckenzie has never lived in a home before, everything will be brand new to him. His adopters will need to be kind and understanding as he settles in and learns all about home life and new skills like house training. He’ll also need to learn to walk on a lead and harness, starting in a secure garden until he feels more confident.

With gentle encouragement, patience, and love, Mckenzie will slowly blossom into a happy, trusting boy who will make a wonderful and loyal companion to the special family who opens their heart to him.

Mckenzie has a travel document.
