02-11-25 Midas has come to us from a breeder to find her forever home. When she arrived, she was presenting as if she was poorly, but we have carried out all the necessary checks to rule out any medical issues. It turns out she is simply very depressed and shut down, and sadly, this environment is not the right place for her to thrive.

She is a very worried girl at the moment who is in need of lots of gentle reassurance from those around her. Midas hasn’t had much experience of the world, and she’ll need time, patience, and understanding to help her find her confidence and realise that she’s finally safe.

Midas will be looking for a calm and quiet home with adopters who can offer her the stability she needs. She would benefit from a family experienced with large breeds. She will need another kind and confident resident dog in her new home who can take her under their wing and show her how wonderful home life can be.

She is a beginner when it comes to walking on a lead and will need continued gentle practice as her confidence grows. As Midas has never lived in a home before, she’ll also need to learn about house training and all the new sights and sounds of home life.

Midas is a true gentle giant, and with plenty of love, patience, and TLC, she will blossom into a devoted and affectionate companion. 

Midas has been spayed and has had an upper and lower entropion repair at the time of the procedure.

Midas has a travel document.
