Noreen
Noreen is a gentle little girl who has come a long way since arriving from a breeder. When she first came to us, she was extremely nervous and shy, often shying away when approached in her kennel. The world felt overwhelming, and she had never experienced home life before. But with patience, gentle handling, and the right environment, Noreen has begun to discover the joys of trust, love, and companionship.
She has now been in her foster home for just a week, and the progress she has made is heartwarming. This sweet girl is settling into home life beautifully, getting along wonderfully with all the other dogs and even meeting resident cats without any issues, a huge confidence boost for her. She’s learning house training and has even discovered the toy box… and promptly emptied it! She’s also mastered the stairs, which is a big achievement for a little lady still learning about the world.
Although Noreen remains shy, she is starting to trust enough to ask for fusses and will allow herself to be picked up for gentle cuddles. Every small step she takes is a victory, and it’s truly lovely to watch her gradually come out of her shell.
Noreen need a calm, adult-only home with a kind, confident resident dog to guide her and help her feel secure. She will need adopters who understand that learning new skills, like walking on a lead and navigating life indoors, takes time and patience.
This quiet, gentle soul has so much love to give, and with continued support and understanding, she will blossom into the loyal, affectionate companion she was always meant to be. Noreen has had 3 teeth removed at the time of her spay and a few were already missing, but it hasn’t slowed down her sweet spirit one bit.
Her journey has just begun, and the right family will be rewarded with a lifetime of devotion, trust, and gentle love from this extraordinary little lady.
Noreen has a travel document.
