  • Human family requirements

I’d be happy with older dog-savvy children who respect my space.

  • Other pet requirements

I need a resident dog to help me feel safe. I've never met cats so I'm unsure!

  • House and garden requirements

I’m still shy, so I will need a secure garden while I get used to my new home.

  • Out and about requirements

I'm still getting used to my new life so a secure garden for me to explore is ideal.

  • Training needs

I need to learn lead training and house manners when I am settled into my new home.

  • Medical issues

I am neutered and ready to find my forever home! I have some sore skin.

04-11-25 Rusty is a gorgeous Cavapoo who has come to us from a breeder in Ireland. He is trying his best to be brave, but is very worried about being here with all the uncertainty of a new environment. Whilst he is in the kennel, he will not yet approach us, but instead, he will dance around, wagging his tail. He is fairly easy to catch and once he is in arms, he enjoys a little snuggle and accepts gentle fuss.

We believe that Rusty would thrive with another dog in the home, and this dog will be a much-needed support system for him. As he has never lived in a home before, he will need to learn all about house training, lead training, and other basics of home life.

Rusty could share his home with older, dog-savvy children who can appreciate and understand that he will need a gentle, quiet introduction to the home and his own space to settle in.

Rusty has arrived at Many Tears with some sore skin, so we are hoping to see an improvement over time with proper grooming and a good diet in place.

Rusty has all the potential to be someone's best friend; he just needs some time to adjust to his new surroundings and the help of someone patient and understanding.

He has some slightly sore skin and will need some medicated baths to help with this.

He has a PETS travel document

Rusty has been given the Gift of Life by Carol Johnson
