Kadi
30-10-25 Kadi has come to us from a breeder as an unsold puppy, and she’s now looking for her forever home. This sweet girl is feeling a bit worried and unsure at the moment, but she’s already starting to show glimpses of her cheeky, playful personality as her confidence grows.
Kadi will slowly approach you to say hello, and it’s clear she wants to trust, she just needs a bit of time, love, and reassurance to find her feet. Because of this, Kadi will be best suited to a calm and quiet home where she can settle in at her own pace and learn that the world isn’t such a scary place after all.
She will need to have at least one other kind and confident resident dog in her new home to be her friend and guide, helping her learn all about home life and showing her that humans can be kind and fun. Once she settles and comes out of her shell, we know Kadi will blossom into the most wonderful little companion.
She has never lived in a home before so her adopters will need to be kind and understanding as she settles in and learns all about home life and new skills like house training. She will need to learn all about walking on a lead and harness, first in a secure garden while she gains confidence.
Kadi would love an active home, and once she’s feeling more confident, she’ll no doubt enjoy joining in on walks and adventures. She could also live with dog-savvy older children who will understand to give her space when she needs it and be gentle as she builds her confidence.
With patience, kindness, and love, Kadi’s true personality will shine and she’ll become the happy, lively little dog she’s meant to be.
Kadi's adopters will need to take her to puppy socialisation classes and will need to agree to have her spayed at the appropriate age as per the adoption agreement. She has an upper retained canine tooth, which may need extraction at the same time.
Kadi has been given the Gift of Life by Peter Uffendell
