Blythe
01-11-25 Lovely Blythe has come to us from a breeder to find her forever home. She is a sweet girl who seems to enjoy human company, though she’s still a little shy and worried at the moment. Despite this, she is gentle and easy to handle, and with time, love, and kindness, we don't think it will take her long to discover how wonderful it feels to be someone’s special girl.
At the moment, she relies on other dogs for comfort and so will need another kind resident dog in her new home to be her friend and help show her the ropes as she learns about the big wide world.
Blythe has never lived in a home before, so everything will be new to her and her adopters will need to be kind and understanding as she settles in and learns all about home life and new skills like house training and how to walk on a lead and harness.
Blythe arrived with many missing teeth and had some extractions with us, she now doesn't have many teeth remaining so will benefit from a soft food diet. Our vets have also noted that she has a Grade 2-3 heart murmur, which doesn't require any medication but will need to be monitored by her adopters and their vet. She also has Grade 2 patella luxation, but this may improve with gentle exercise as she builds muscle tone. She has dry eye in her left eye and is on eye medication to help with this, which will be ongoing in her new home. She has some areas of fur loss, but now she is spayed this may start to grow back
This lovely girl has so much potential and love to give, she just needs a gentle, patient family to help her shine.
Blythe has a travel document.
