  • Human family requirements

I need a calm and quiet, adult only home where I can settle in at my own pace.

  • Other pet requirements

I will need a kind resident dog to take me under their wing. I have never met cats.

  • House and garden requirements

I would like a secure garden to spend time in.

  • Out and about requirements

I haven't tried walks just yet and will find this a bit overwhelming at the moment.

  • Training needs

I have never lived in a home so I will need help to learn house training.

  • Medical issues

I am spayed and ready to find my forever home.

31-10-25 Penny has come to us from a breeder to find her forever home. This sweet little girl is very unsure of the world right now. She’s feeling quite worried about all the changes in her life and is in need of lots of love, patience, and gentle care to help her start to feel safe.

When approached, Penny will try to run away, but once she’s in your arms, she does begin to settle and will slowly relax with gentle reassurance. She is quite touch sensitive at the moment and isn't used to being handled, so her new family will need to move at her pace and show her that human hands are kind.

Penny will be looking for a calm and quiet, adult-only home where she can take her time to gain confidence and trust. She will need at least one other kind and confident resident dog in her new home to be her friend and show her the ropes, helping her learn that life can be full of comfort and kindness.

As Penny has never lived in a home before, everything will be completely new to her. Her adopters will need to help her learn about house training and all the other things that come with home life. She will also need to learn to walk on a lead and harness in a secure garden until she feels braver and more confident to venture further.

With time, love, and patience, Penny will begin to blossom and show her true, gentle nature. She just needs someone special to give her the safe and loving home she’s always deserved.

Penny has a travel document.
