Beautiful little Shelly has come to us from a breeder to begin her new life and find her forever home. When she first arrived, she was very worried and overwhelmed, unsure of the world around her and not yet understanding that human hands can bring love and kindness. But with gentle care and patience, Shelly has already started to show the sweet and loving dog she truly is.

Once she feels safe, Shelly becomes a complete little shadow who adores being close to her people and would love nothing more than to spend her days on your lap or by your side. She’s still a little nervous at times and is currently learning about wearing a harness. Although she finds it a bit worrying right now, with time and reassurance she’ll realise it’s nothing to be afraid of.

Shelly will need a calm and quiet home with adopters who have experience with nervous or ex-breeding dogs. She can live with dog-savvy teenagers who respect her space as she settles in. She can live with a kind resident dog, though this should be one larger than her, as she doesn’t always get along with smaller dogs. She could also be the only dog in the home, provided her adopters are experienced and home most of the time to keep her company.

As she has never lived in a home before, Shelly will need patient adopters who can help her learn about the world around her, things like house training, walking on a lead, and finding confidence in a secure garden.

This gorgeous girl has already come such a long way, and with love, patience, and understanding, she will blossom into the most loyal and affectionate companion. Someone is going to be exceptionally lucky to have this wonderful girl in their life.

Shelly has had an inguinal hernia repair at the time of her spay.

Shelly has a travel document.
