Apricot
30-10-25 Apricot has come to us from a breeder as an unsold puppy and he is feeling quite worried and overwhelmed at the moment. Despite being a little unsure, he is very easy to handle and is sweet and submissive.
Apricot will be looking for a calm and quiet home where he can take things at his own pace and begin to feel safe and loved. He will need to have at least one other kind and confident resident dog in his new home to be his friend, show him the ropes, and help him build his confidence as he learns what it means to be part of a family.
As he has never lived in a home before, everything will be new to him, so his adopters will need to be patient and understanding as he learns all about home life, including important new skills like house training. He’s also never been walked on a lead, so will need gentle practice in a secure garden before heading out on adventures. Once he learns to walk on a lead, we think he will love it and will benefit from an active home.
With time, love, and kindness, Apricot will start to come out of his shell and let his puppy personality shine through. He’s a sweet and sensitive little soul who just needs someone special to help him feel safe, loved, and ready to blossom into the wonderful companion he’s meant to be.
Apricot will need to attend puppy socialisation classes and his adopters will need to agree to have him neutered at the appropriate age as per the adoption agreement.
He has some alopecia on his left forearm but this may grow back with time.
Apricot has a travel document.
