08-11-25 Cookie has come to us from a home through no fault of his own after his owners were sadly no longer able to care for him. We are told he is a Cavapoochon, so a Poodle crossed with Cavalier and Bichon. He’s a very sweet and gentle boy who can be a little shy at first, but it doesn’t take him long to come out of his shell once he feels safe, and when he does, his affectionate, loving nature really shines through.

Cookie is confident enough to be homed as an only dog, provided his adopters are around for most of the day to keep him company. He also gets on well with other dogs, so he could happily share his home with a kind resident dog. He has lived with children before, so we would consider homes with dog-savvy children who can be gentle and respectful with him.

Having lived in a home, Cookie is used to the comforts of family life and is said to be house trained, though he may need a few gentle reminders while settling into his new surroundings. He walks nicely on a lead and will love joining his new family on their daily walks and adventures.

Cookie has a few favourites that make him extra happy.. he loves his wet food (but isn’t too keen on dry biscuits!), enjoys playing with toys, and adores snuggling up in a cosy fleece or soft blanket. He’s a real cuddlebug who enjoys affection, though he does like to have his own space to sleep when it’s time to rest.

Cookie has been castrated and is currently receiving treatment for sore ears.

This lovely boy will make a wonderful companion for a kind and loving family who can offer him time, patience, and lots of cuddles. We can’t wait to see Cookie back in a comfy home, wrapped up in a blanket, and surrounded by love once again.
