Grape
11-11-25 Grape is a frightened and shut-down little lady who has come to us from a breeder. Right now, everything in the world feels very big and scary to her, and she’s just beginning to learn that people can be kind and that gentle hands mean love and care.
When approached, Grape’s first instinct is to hide, hoping not to be noticed, but with time, patience, and understanding, she will begin to realise she’s finally safe. She will need a quiet, calm, adult-only home where she can settle at her own pace and start to build trust in her new family.
Grape will need a confident resident dog to show her the ropes of home life, offer comfort, and help her learn that the world isn’t such a scary place. She’ll also appreciate a furry friend to snuggle up with for reassurance.
As Grape has never lived in a home before, she will need help learning house training and how to walk on a lead. Her adopters will need to be kind, patient, and committed to guiding her gently through this journey of discovery.
With love, time, and care, Grape will slowly bloom into the beautiful, trusting girl she’s meant to be.
Grape has had 2 teeth removed at the time of her spay as well as a pea sized lump removed from the right hand side of her chest.
Grape has been given the Gift of Life by Louise Southward
