15-11-25 Jenny has come to us from a loving home due to her owners ill health, and we can only imagine how confusing this change must feel for her. She is an extremely sweet and gentle little lady and we hope she finds her perfect retirement home as soon as possible.

At the moment, Jenny is feeling a little shy and unsure, which is completely understandable. With time, patience, and kindness, we know her confidence will blossom again, and she will show you just how affectionate and loyal she can be.

Jenny loves the company of other dogs and would love to live with another kind resident dog or she could be an only dog as long as her new owners can help reassure her and show her the routine of her new life. We would consider homing her with gentle, dog savvy older children. Jenny has lived in a home before and is house trained, but may need some reminders as she settles into her new life.

We’re told Jenny is very fond of her home comforts, especially sharing a bed with her humans, and she would be absolutely delighted if her new family let her continue this. She also enjoys walks and adventures and walks well on a harness.

Jenny loves her toys, loves her food, and we are told she will happily eat anything! Because of this, she is carrying a little extra weight at the moment, so a sensible diet and gentle exercise will help her feel her best. Jenny is supposed to be 8 years old but we believe she is likely older as she only has two teeth remaining, and she is developing cataracts, so her new family should be willing to monitor this as she gets older. She also has narrow ear canals and so will require regular ear cleaning.

If you can offer Jenny the peaceful, happy retirement she deserves, she will repay you with endless love, loyalty, and warmth for the rest of her days.
