Fizzy Wizzy is a handsome Cavalier who came into our care from a breeder. He has a friendly, gentle nature and has settled well since arriving with us. Although he has not previously lived in a home environment, he has shown himself to be a quick learner and is already comfortable walking on a lead.

Fizzy Wizzy is affectionate and enjoys close contact with people, taking comfort from companionship and routine. He is confident when around other dogs but can be a little more unsure when on his own, so he will require a home with at least one kind, confident resident dog to help him feel secure and supported.

He would be suitable to live with dog-savvy children who understand the need for calm handling. Fizzy Wizzy enjoys relaxing and will be happiest in a home where he is allowed to spend time close to his family, including settling on the sofa.

As he has never lived in a home before, his adopters will need to be patient while he completes his house training and continues to build confidence in a home setting. A gentle, reassuring approach will help him settle quickly.

He has come to us with severe dry eye and will require lifelong daily eye drops. He is currently receiving treatment for a corneal ulcer in his left eye. He has previously had 17 teeth removed and will therefore require a soft food diet. He also has a Grade 1–2 heart murmur, which does not currently require medication but will need to be monitored by his vet.

Fizzy Wizzy is a calm, loving companion who is ready to move on to a permanent home with adopters who can meet his medical needs and offer him the reassurance and companionship he thrives on.
