27-11-25 These seven puppies have had the most extraordinary start in life.

Their mum, Poppy, was dangerously ill when she gave birth, starved almost to death and survival should have been impossible. But every two hours, day and night, they were tube-fed, cuddled, checked, and loved, and Poppy somehow found the strength to care for them too.

The pups kept Poppy alive, and we kept the pups alive, and because of this they have been handled from day one:

cuddled, carried, sung to, adored, and frequently found asleep in someone’s lap.

They are a week ahead of most puppies their age, bright, bold, confident, and needing homes where someone is home all day, with very occasional short absences. These are pups who will love deeply, attach deeply, and definitely get up to mischief if left to their own devices.

They all need guidance, patience, training, and ideally another friendly dog to show them the ropes. Raised with love, they will be sensational family members.

Parsley is the puppy who believes life is a game and that every sibling needs reminding of this regularly.

He’s the ankle-tapper, the “tag-you’re-it” enthusiast, the master of gentle mischief.

But he never oversteps his mark: his play is kind, fair, and adored by the others.

He doesn’t leap into the food bowl like some, but he does make sure to clean it afterward.

A lovely boy with a sparkle in his eyes.

Parsley’s adopter must agree to have him neutered when he is of age and to take him to socialization and training classes to help him grow into a well-adjusted adult dog.

Our retriever puppies are ready for loving homes. If you wish to donate towards their true cost, it will help us save more lives.

We will be accepting applications for the puppies at this time, but they will not be ready for their new homes until they are at least 8 weeks of age.
