28-02-26 Please meet the most beautiful girl, Tenley! Tenley originally came to us from a breeder a few months ago and was delighted to find a home of her own. Sadly, she has now been returned to our care as she hasn’t quite mastered her toilet training yet and it wasn't the right home for her. We know how confusing this must be for her, but we are hopeful that her perfect forever family is out there waiting.

When Tenley first arrived with us she was a shy and worried little girl, but since then she has really come out of her shell and has shown us what a loving and affectionate girl she truly is. She now enjoys fuss and attention and will happily soak up the cuddles from those she knows. She can still feel anxious at times, especially in busy areas or when faced with new experiences, but with love and TLC her confidence is continuing to grow.

Tenley would be best suited to a calm and quiet home where she can settle in at her own pace. We would consider homing her with dog-savvy older teenagers who can understand her sensitive side and give her the space and reassurance she needs as she settles in.

She does take great comfort from other dogs and so will need a home with another kind and confident resident dog to be her friend and role model. However, she would prefer a companion who is not too in her face, as she does enjoy having her own space as well.

Although Tenley has spent a couple of months in a home, home life is still very new to her as she had never experienced it before. She was still having some toilet accidents in her adoptive home, so it is vital that her new adopters are patient and understanding while she continues to learn and master her house training. With consistency, kindness and encouragement, we feel she will get there in time.

We are told that she can dig a little in the garden when left unsupervised, so this is something her new adopters will need to monitor. She also has a bit of a sensitive stomach and can't seem to tolerate fresh meat, but is doing well on a chicken based dry food.

Tenley can walk nicely on a lead and she really enjoys getting out and about. She would love to find a home where she can go on plenty of walks and adventures with her new family, building happy memories and growing in confidence every step of the way.

Tenley has a travel document.
