09-12-25 Poe is a lively, bright little Cavapoo who has recently arrived with us from a breeder in Ireland. Though he can be shy and reserved when first meeting new people, it doesn’t take long for his personality to shine through. Once he relaxes, Poe becomes affectionate, playful, and easy to handle. He is a sweet boy who just needs a bit of reassurance to feel safe.

Right now, Poe is drawing confidence from the company of his kennel friends, and he absolutely loves racing around with them and burning off his puppyish energy. For this reason, we feel he will need another dog in the home who can offer companionship, support, and a little extra courage as he finds his paws.

Because Poe has never lived in a home before, he’ll need gentle teaching and patience while he learns all the basics, such as house training, to lead walking and understanding the routines of everyday life. With consistency and kindness, he’ll make wonderful progress. His adopters will need to agree to take him to puppy socialization and training classes as well as agree to have him neutered when he is of age.

Poe could live with older, dog-savvy children who understand that he will need a calm, gentle introduction to home life, as well as his own quiet space where he can retreat and settle.

With adopters who can offer him time, understanding, and plenty of opportunities for fun and exercise, Poe will truly flourish. He’s an energetic, sweet-natured boy who just needs the right family to help him grow in confidence and enjoy the happy life he deserves.
