Flute
Flute has come to us from a breeder and is an inquisitive but very worried little soul. If she doesn't know you, she can be very nervous and skittish, but once she gets to know you she really starts to come out of her shell. She adores those people she knows well and now will even give them kisses and do the most adorable little dance when she sees them! We think she is going to make so much progress in a home and hope she doesn't have to wait too much longer.
She recently moved to a foster home, where she initially found the change quite overwhelming, but each day she is becoming more inquisitive about the humans in the home and gently finding her confidence.
She will be looking for a calm and quiet, adult only home, with adopters who have plenty of time to spend with her and will let her settle in at her own pace. She would benefit from adopters who have experience with scared ex-breeding dogs. She relies heavily on other dogs for comfort and reassurance, so she will need at least one other kind and confident resident dog in her new home to take her under their wing.
Flute had never lived in a home prior to moving to foster home, so her adopters will need to be kind and understanding as she settles in and learns all about home life and new skills like house training. She started learning all about wearing a harness and lead, but will need more practice with this around the garden before she is confident enough to venture further.
This sweet girl just needs someone willing to give her a chance. With patience, understanding, and love, Flute is ready to blossom into a loyal, affectionate companion.
She has been treated for mild conjunctivitis.
Flute has a travel document which says she is a poodle, but we think she may be crossed with a Bichon or similar.
Flute has been given the Gift of Life by E Dent
