Marvin
Marvin came to us from a breeder and was understandably very overwhelmed when he first arrived. He had clearly had very little socialisation and was initially very worried about being handled and unsure of human intentions.
Since being with us, Marvin has tried very hard to be brave and has made lovely progress. He is a stunning boy who, once he gets to know you and feels safe, now enjoys fuss and will happily have lap snuggles. He can be wary at first and will need adopters who are confident and experienced with nervous dogs, but once trust is built, Marvin shows what a soft, affectionate boy he really is.
Marvin will need a calm, quiet, adult-only home where he can continue to settle at his own pace. He will need at least one kind and confident resident dog, as he takes great comfort from other dogs and enjoys snuggling up with them whenever he can. He gets on well with both male and female dogs, although he will need to be fed separately as he prefers not to share his dinner.
Having never lived in a home before, Marvin will need patient guidance as he learns house training and the routines of home life. He is not yet confident walking on a lead and will need to start in a secure garden before gradually venturing further as his confidence grows.
Marvin has come a long way already and, in the right home with patience, understanding, and canine companionship, he will continue to grow in confidence. He is ready to find his forever home where he can finally feel safe and settled.
Marvin has a travel document.
