08-12-25 Aiko has come to us from a breeder and is now looking for a loving forever home where she can finally begin her new life. She is a very scared little girl at the moment and is understandably overwhelmed to find herself in such unfamiliar surroundings. Aiko hasn’t had much socialisation in her past, but despite her worries she is gentle and easy to handle, and with time and patience she will begin to trust.

Aiko will need a calm and quiet, adult only home, ideally with adopters who have experience of scared ex-breeding dogs and where she can settle in at her own pace. She finds great comfort in the company of other dogs and will need at least one other kind and confident resident dog who can help guide her and show her how wonderful home life can be.

She has never lived in a home before, so everything will be completely new to her. Her adopters will need to be very understanding as she learns about home life and new skills like house training. Aiko will also need to learn how to walk on a harness and lead, starting with gentle practice in the garden until she feels brave enough to explore further.

With love, patience, and the reassurance of a caring canine companion, Aiko will start to blossom and come out of her shell. She just needs someone kind enough to help her take those first steps.

At the moment Aiko is underweight, so she is being fed little and often to help build her up. She also has some dry and sore areas on her skin, which are being treated with medicated baths. She has had 2 teeth extracted at the time of her spay.
