Aqua
Aqua is a lovely but worried boy who has come to us from a breeder. He is quite overwhelmed to find himself here and isn't yet sure of our intentions and can be touch sensitive and worried about being handled. Despite this, he has a sweet and gentle nature and is easy to handle once he feels safe.
Aqua will be looking for a calm and quiet, adult only home where he can settle in at his own pace. He will need at least one other kind, confident resident dog who can help him settle and show him the ropes of home life. He is still learning about the world and will take comfort from the guidance of another dog as he adapts. He loves his kennel friends and gains comfort and reassurance from them and even enjoys playing in the play yard with them.
Having never lived in a home before, Aqua will need patient adopters to help him learn house training and how to walk on a lead. Gentle, consistent routines will help him feel secure and build his confidence. Short garden sniffing sessions at first will be a lovely way for him to explore safely.
Aqua will thrive in a quiet, loving environment where he can relax and enjoy home life. He will love curling up on a cosy sofa and will gradually learn to enjoy fuss and affection in his own time. With patience, understanding, and plenty of love, Aqua has the potential to blossom into a loyal, devoted companion for the right family.
He has come to us with conjunctivitis and superficial patches on both eyes that are being treated with eye drops. He is also being treated for dirty ears with an ear cleaner. He has a fragile stifle joint that does not seem to bother him. He has been diagnosed with generalized allergic dermatitis, and is has been advised to have a specific diet to help control the allergies, which will need to be continued in his new home.
Aqua has a PETs travel document.
