Angharad
06-12-25 Angharad has come to us from a breeder to find a loving forever home. She is such a sweet little girl, who is still just a puppy really and has her whole life ahead of her and cannot wait to find a family to love and cherish her.
Angharad has arrived here with quite sore skin, with crusty patches, lesions, and areas of hair loss. She is now under the careful eye of our vet and is receiving regular Malaseb baths, which will help soothe her skin and keep her more comfortable as she heals. Our vet has also noted that she has Grade 2 patella luxation in both hind legs. This may improve as she grows and develops muscle, but her adopters will need to monitor this along with their vets.
Understandably, Angharad was quite timid and overwhelmed when she first arrived. However, with a bit of gentle reassurance she is already starting to come out of her shell. She will now approach us for a fuss, with her little tail wagging away, and her curiosity is beginning to shine through. With time, patience, and kindness we believe she is going to blossom into the most wonderful little character.
In the right circumstances and with adopters who are around most of the time we would consider homing her as an only dog, but she could also happily be homed with another kind resident dog to be her friend.
As she has never lived in a home before, Angharad will need to learn all about home life and new skills like house training, so her adopters will need to be kind and understanding as she settles in. She will also need to learn how to walk on a lead, so adopters who can guide her gently as she builds confidence will be ideal.
Angharad has so much potential, and with the right family by her side she will flourish into the bright, happy, and loving dog she is meant to be. She just needs someone willing to help her take those first steps.
