04-12-25 Cassie is one of several dogs rescued from a repossessed home where they had been left abandoned in truly heartbreaking conditions, with urine and feces caked throughout. With no one to care for them, the dogs were left to fend for themselves. Thankfully, despite the state of the home, all of the dogs were in surprisingly good condition, suggesting they once knew love and care. Now, they are here at Many Tears and are ready to start their journey towards finding their perfect forever homes.

Cassie is a wonderful girl, she is friendly and an absolute delight to spend time with. Although she can be a little shy at first, it doesn’t take long for her sweet nature to shine through, and once she knows you, she warms up beautifully.

Cassie loves fuss and attention and will happily paw you for just a little bit more affection. At the moment she takes a lot of comfort from the other dogs around her, so she will be looking for a home with another kind and confident resident dog who can be her friend and help her grow in confidence. We would also consider homing her with dog-savvy, older children who will give her the understanding and space she needs while she settles.

Although she has lived in a home before, she may not be housetrained and so her adopters will need to be kind and understanding as she settles in. Cassie will also need to learn how to walk on a lead, but we’re sure that with encouragement and reassurance, she will soon enjoy going on walks and exploring the world with her new family.

Cassie is a truly special girl who just needs the right home to help her blossom. With love and support, she will make the most loyal and loving companion.

She has come to us with scabby lesions on her back that should heal with time.
