04-12-25 Cracker is one of several dogs rescued from a repossessed home where they had been left abandoned in truly heartbreaking conditions, with urine and feces caked throughout. With no one to care for them, the dogs were left to fend for themselves. Thankfully, despite the state of the home, all of the dogs were in surprisingly good condition, suggesting they once knew love and care. Now, they are here at Many Tears and are ready to start their journey towards finding their perfect forever homes.

Cracker is the sweetest boy who is always happy and his tail never stops wagging. He is quick to make friends, loves fuss and attention, and is sure to become the most wonderful addition to a very lucky family.

At the moment, Cracker is looking for a home with another kind resident dog who can help him settle in to home life and show him the ropes, though we will reassess this as he gains more confidence. We would consider homing him with dog-savvy, older children who will let him settle in at his own pace.

Cracker doesn’t yet know how to walk on a lead, but with time and practice he should soon pick this up, and we think he’s going to absolutely love going on adventures with his new family once he gets the hang of it.

He has lived in a home before, but he may not be house trained, so his adopters will need to be kind and understanding as he learns.

Cracker is a joyful, loving boy who will thrive in a patient and supportive home. With kindness and guidance, he will blossom into the perfect companion.

He has come to us with a slight click in her right patella but this does not seem to bother him. This could be due to growth plates developing, and should get better with gentle exercise and time.
