05-12-25 Cheese is one of several dogs rescued from a repossessed home where they had been left abandoned in truly heartbreaking conditions, with urine and feces caked throughout. With no one to care for them, the dogs were left to fend for themselves. Thankfully, despite the state of the home, all of the dogs were in surprisingly good condition, suggesting they once knew love and care. Now, they are here at Many Tears and are ready to start their journey towards finding their perfect forever homes.

Cheese is a sweet little soul, but he is very overwhelmed by all the recent changes in his life. At the moment he is a scared boy who is unsure of the world around him. Although he may seem timid, when he’s with his kennel friends we see glimpses of the happy dog he longs to be and his little tail starts to wag and he relaxes. Sudden or loud noises worry him, so he will need reassurance, patience, and understanding as he settles in to his new life.

Cheese will be looking for a calm, quiet home with adopters who can give him the time he needs to come out of his shell. He will need another kind and confident resident dog in his new home to be his friend and take him under their wing.

He has lived in a home before, but he may need to learn all about house training. He will also need to learn to walk on a lead, so a secure garden where he can practice and gain confidence will be essential.

With kindness, routine, and gentle encouragement, Cheese will blossom into the loving companion we know he can be. He just needs someone willing to show him the world isn’t such a scary place after all.
