Chelsea
05-12-25 Chelsea is one of several dogs rescued from a repossessed home where they had been left abandoned in truly heartbreaking conditions, with urine and feces caked throughout. With no one to care for them, the dogs were left to fend for themselves. Thankfully, despite the state of the home, all of the dogs were in surprisingly good condition, suggesting they once knew love and care. Now, they are here at Many Tears and are ready to start their journey towards finding their perfect forever homes.
Although she is still just a puppy, Chelsea is a very frightened little girl who is feeling quite overwhelmed to find herself here. At the moment she is in need of lots of gentle love, patience, and TLC as she starts to settle and understand that she is safe. She is too worried to approach us at the moment, but once in your arms she is easy to handle.
Chelsea relies heavily on her kennel friends for reassurance, so she will need at least one other kind and confident resident dog in her new home who can take her under their wing and help guide her as she learns about the world. A calm and quiet home where she can settle at her own pace will suit her perfectly.
Although she has lived in a home before, Chelsea will likely need to learn all about house training. She doesn’t yet walk on a lead, so her adopters will need to help her practise safely in the garden until she feels brave enough to try little steps beyond it.
With time, kindness, and the steady support of a gentle canine companion, Chelsea will begin to blossom. She just needs a patient family who can show her that life is full of love and that she never has to be afraid again.
Chelsea's will benefit from attending puppy socialisation classes and her adopters will need to agree to have her spayed at the appropriate time as per the adoption agreement.
She has come to us with dermatitis on her belly which should get better with time.
