Cauliflower is one of several dogs rescued from a repossessed home where they had been left abandoned in truly heartbreaking conditions, with urine and feaces caked throughout. With no one to care for them, the dogs were left to fend for themselves. Thankfully, despite the state of the home, all of the dogs were in surprisingly good condition, suggesting they once knew love and care. Now, they are here at Many Tears and are ready to start their journey towards finding their perfect forever homes.

Cauliflower is a sweet and gentle soul. He can be bouncy and fun when he’s outside, enjoying his time exploring and having a good play, but he also really values his quieter moments and loves nothing more than a gentle cuddle in his bed. Cauliflower enjoys human interaction and forms lovely bonds, but he will need an owner who can offer an active lifestyle while also having the patience to let him ease into new routines at his own pace. He does come up to you but only when other dogs are around and shuts down when when you pick him up so we are looking for a calm and quiet home where there is at least one other dog to help Cauliflower gain some confidence. This will also help him with house training as he will watch and start to copy what they do.

Although he has lived in a home Cauliflower will need adopters who will give him time to adjust and settle. He is a beginner on a lead but with a little time a patience from his adopters and some support from his new canine friend(s) we think he will soon start to love going out.

With routine and gentle encouragement and most of all love, Cauliflower will become a gentle and loving canine friend. He just needs someone o show him the world isn’t such a scary place and that he will be loved to the moon and back.
