05-12-25 Cann is one of several dogs rescued from a repossessed home where they had been left abandoned in truly heartbreaking conditions, with urine and feces caked throughout. With no one to care for them, the dogs were left to fend for themselves. Thankfully, despite the state of the home, all of the dogs were in surprisingly good condition, suggesting they once knew love and care. Now, they are here at Many Tears and are ready to start their journey towards finding their perfect forever homes.

Cann is a sweet and gentle boy who is feeling a little worried and overwhelmed to find himself here. He’s trying his best to understand all the changes in his life, and although he’s unsure right now, he has a lovely nature just waiting to shine through. With time, kindness, and patience, we don’t think it will take him long to come out of his shell.

Cann finds great comfort in the company of other dogs and relies on them for reassurance, so he will be looking for a loving home with another kind and confident resident dog who can take him under their wing. Having a canine friend by his side will help him settle, feel safe, and gain confidence in his new surroundings.

Although he has been in a home before, Cann will most likely need to learn about house training again as he adjusts to new routines. He will also need to learn to walk on a lead, so gentle guidance and plenty of positive encouragement will help him take those steps.

Cann has been seen by our vets and is receiving additional treatment after castration to ensure he is healing as he should.

With a little love and the support of a friendly resident dog, we think he is going to blossom into the most wonderful companion.
