  • Human family requirements

I need a calm and quiet home where I can settle in at my own pace.

  • Other pet requirements

I will need a kind resident dog to take me under their wing. I have never met cats.

  • House and garden requirements

I would like a secure garden to spend time in.

  • Out and about requirements

I haven't tried walks just yet and will find this a bit overwhelming at the moment.

  • Training needs

I have never lived in a home so I will need help to learn house training.

  • Medical issues

I am spayed and ready to find my forever home.

14-12-25 Mari has come to us from a breeder to find her forever home, and she is finding this new world very overwhelming. This worried little girl will often crouch low to the ground when someone enters her play yard and will run away, showing just how unsure she feels around people at the moment.

Mari will need plenty of love, kindness, and patience as she begins to come out of her shell and learn that humans can be kind. She is looking for a calm and quiet home where she can settle at her own pace, without any pressure or expectations placed upon her.

She will need at least one other kind and confident resident dog in her new home to be her friend and guide her, helping her feel safe and showing her how to enjoy home life. Mari has never lived in a home before, so she will need to learn all about new skills like house training.

Mari does not yet walk on a lead and will need to start slowly by practising in a secure garden until she gains the confidence to venture further. With time, reassurance, and the companionship of another dog, we believe this gentle girl will slowly learn to trust and begin to blossom.

If you feel you could offer Mari a peaceful home and the patience she so desperately needs, she would love the chance to start her journey with you.
