  • Human family requirements

I’d be happy with dog-savvy children who respect my space.

  • Other pet requirements

I could be an only dog or live with others, I'm easy! I've haven't met cats yet.

  • House and garden requirements

I will need a secure garden while I get used to my new home.

  • Out and about requirements

I'm still getting used to my new life so a secure garden for me to explore is ideal.

  • Training needs

I’m learning to walk on the lead but still need to master housetraining.

  • Medical issues

I have been spayed and had a pea sized cyst removed.

16-12-25 Swift is a very sweet Cocker Spaniel cross who has come into our care from a breeder in search of a fresh start. She has made a fantastic first impression on everyone she’s met, and it’s easy to see why! She’s gentle, affectionate, and a truly lovely little dog. Anyone would be lucky to welcome Swift into their home.

Swift gets along beautifully with other dogs and would happily share her home with canine companions. She’s also confident enough to be an only dog, provided her adopters are around often enough to keep her company and give her the attention she enjoys.

As Swift has never lived in a home before, she will need patient guidance with house training, lead walking, and learning the routines of family life. She is already starting to learn how to walk on a lead and, once settled, would enjoy one or two calm walks around the neighbourhood after plenty of practice in the garden.

Swift could live with older, dog-savvy children who understand the importance of a gentle, quiet introduction and allowing her the space she needs to settle comfortably.

Swift is currently awaiting a vet health check to make sure she’s feeling her best and ready to head off to her forever home. Sweet-natured and full of affection, Swift is ready to begin the next chapter of her life and will make a wonderful companion in the right home.

She has had a pea sized cyst removed at the time of her spay.
