17-12-25 Maverick is a happy, confident Labrador who has come into our care from a breeder in search of a fresh start. He’s easy to handle, kind in nature, and has a lovely, steady temperament that makes him a pleasure to be around.

Maverick gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would happily share his home with canine companions of a similar nature. He’s also confident enough to live as an only dog, provided his adopters are around often enough to keep him company and give him the attention he enjoys.

As Maverick has never lived in a home before, he will need some support with house training and learning the routines of family life. He can already walk on a lead and, once settled, would enjoy one or two walks around the neighbourhood as part of his daily routine.

Maverick is looking for an active home that can match his energy and enthusiasm for life.

He has had a veterinary health check, which identified a cataract in one of his eyes. This doesn’t dampen his spirit, and he continues to get around confidently. Maverick has had 3 teeth removed at the time of castration and upon examination the vets believe that he may have a history with chewing on bars or hard surfaces as his teeth are worn down.

We believe Maverick will settle into home life very quickly and make a wonderful, loyal companion for the right family.
