17-12-25 Gemma is a super-lovely Springer Spaniel who has come into our care from a breeder in search of a fresh start. She’s an active, fun-loving girl with a real zest for life and is ready to break out of kennels and explore the world around her.

Gemma gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would be happy to share her home with canine companions. She’s also confident enough to live as an only dog, provided her adopters are around often enough to keep her company and give her the attention she enjoys.

As Gemma has never lived in a home before, she will need patient support with house training and learning the routines of family life. She can already walk on a lead and, once settled, would enjoy one or two walks around the neighbourhood, either alongside a resident dog or on her own.

Gemma has had a vet health check, which identified a small lump on the side of her rib that will need further investigation. She is currently overweight and will benefit from a balanced diet and gentle exercise to help her reach a healthier weight. The vets have also noted a previous C-section scars and she has had 1 tooth removed at the time of her spay.

Despite these considerations, Gemma is a fantastic, energetic girl with so much love to give. In the right home, she will make a wonderful, active family dog who brings joy, enthusiasm, and companionship to everyday life.
