Chippy is a beautiful and sweet lady who came into our care from a breeder, looking for a fresh start. When she first arrived, she found kennel life very overwhelming and was understandably worried and unsure. With time, consistency, and gentle handling, Chippy has not only settled but has truly blossomed, showing us just how happy, affectionate, and gentle she is.

She is still a sensitive girl at heart, but she has grown hugely in confidence and now greets people with enthusiasm. She has built lovely bonds with staff and absolutely adores attention, giving the best cuddles and kisses. She has become a real favourite, and it’s easy to see why, she has such a joyful personality and a wonderful zest for life.

Recently Chippy moved to a foster home where she has got to experience home life for the first time. She is settling in wonderfully and is making lovely progress with learning all about home life and is already house trained. She walks well on a lead, but can pull and so her adopters will need to work on this with her, but we think this will improve as her confidence grows and walks become more of a routine.  

Chippy would be well suited to being homed ad the only dog where she can enjoy all the love and attention for herself. She is also great with the dogs in her foster home, so would be happy to share her home with another kind resident dog too.

Chippy is a little ray of sunshine, always happy and positive, but also calm and peaceful. She is also very quiet and has only barked once in foster so far, but to make up for it she snores very loudly! She seems to have a real soft spot for younger people, so we feel she would be well suited to a home with older teenagers. Chippy is a lovely girl who will make a wonderful companion for the right family. She will thrive with adopters who can continue to nurture her confidence and give her the companionship she enjoys so much.

With patience, love, and the right home, Chippy will make a truly special and rewarding companion. She is an incredibly easy and affectionate girl who has so much love to give, and it’s a joy to see her enjoying life more each day. She is now more than ready to find her forever home, please don’t keep her waiting any longer.
