Angel
27-12-25 Angel has come into our care from a breeder, and she is a little soul who truly lives up to her name. She is an older girl who has clearly had a very hard life, and at the moment she is broken both in body and in spirit. Angel spends most of her day quietly laying in her bed, with her nose tucked firmly underneath her, trying to make herself small and unseen.
Sadly, Angel has arrived with us in a very sorry state. She has numerous lumps and bumps over her body, including a large lump on her chest. She is also currently lame on her left front leg, which we believe may be related to the position of the larger lump. Angel will be thoroughly assessed by our vets, who will sample the lumps to determine their cause and see what, if anything, can be done to improve her comfort and quality of life.
She is in desperate need of kindness, patience and lots of TLC. Angel will be looking for a calm, quiet home where there are no expectations placed on her and where she can begin to heal and settle at her own pace. A kind, confident and gentle resident dog will be essential for her, as she will need a canine friend to take her under their wing and help her learn that she is now safe and loved.
Angel has never lived in a home before, so everything about home life will be completely new to her. She will need to learn all the basics, including house training and how to walk on a lead, and her new family must be understanding and patient as she navigates these new experiences.
Angel may not be a dog who asks for much, but she deserves everything. With time, love and a gentle guiding paw beside her, we hope she will finally learn what it means to feel safe and cherished. Whoever opens their heart and home to Angel will be giving this very special girl the happy ending she has always deserved.
