28-12-25 Betty first came to Many Tears from a breeder a few years ago and was lucky enough to find a wonderful home. Sadly, through no fault of her own, she has recently been returned to our care due to her owner’s ill health. Understandably, Betty is feeling quite overwhelmed to find herself back with us, and we would love to see her settled back into a loving home as soon as possible.

Betty is a worried little girl, but beneath the worries is a very sweet soul. She does enjoy a gentle fuss once she feels safe and reassured, and her kind nature really shines through with patience and understanding.

She will be looking for a calm and quiet, adult only home where she can settle at her own pace. Betty will need at least one other kind and confident resident dog to be her friend and help guide her, as she takes great comfort from canine companionship.

We are told that Betty can be very worried when meeting new people and may become stressed easily, but she does settle once she realises she is safe. She has previously been on anxiety medication to see if this might help her, although she is not currently on any medication.

Having spent the past few years living in a home, Betty is used to home life and is mostly toilet trained. She may have the occasional accident on a puppy pad if left home alone, but overall she understands the routine of a household. She enjoys going for walks with her family and so we think she will really enjoy going on walks with her new family too.

Betty bonded very closely with her previous owner, and with lots of love, patience and kindness, we hope she will once again form that special bond and feel safe and secure in a forever home of her own.

Betty had a few teeth extracted when she was originally with us and her previous vet noted that she had an arrhythmic heartbeat, but this doesn't cause her any issues. She has recently been assessed by our vets who have noticed an umbilical hernia that and that has been repaired at the time of her spay.
