28-01-26 Moira is a sweet and gentle lady who has come to us from a breeder. She is very gentle by nature but can be quite nervous in new surroundings. Her first instinct when meeting a new person is often to run and hide, but once she’s in your arms, she accepts handling beautifully and enjoys gentle attention.

Moira will need at least one confident dog in her new home to guide her, show her the ropes, and help her learn about trust, companionship, and life in a home. She will also need an adult-only household where she can settle into a calm and quiet environment without feeling overwhelmed.

As Moira overcomes her fears with patience and gentle encouragement from her adopters, she has the potential to become a devoted lap dog who will thrive in a loving home. Having never lived in a house before, she will need kind, understanding owners to help her learn house training and walking on a lead. With time, patience, and reassurance, Moira will settle in beautifully and become a loving, confident companion.

Moira has arrived at the rescue with 3 missing teeth, which do not seem to cause her any problems, and needing treatment for sore ears. She has recently had a visit to the vets to monitor her progress since her arrival and the vets have determined they are looking better and less sensitive so we hope to continue seeing improvements.
