  • Human family requirements

I’d be happy with dog-savvy teenagers who respect my space.

  • Other pet requirements

I need a resident dog to help me settle in and I have never met cats.

  • House and garden requirements

I would like a secure garden to spend time in.

  • Out and about requirements

I’ve never been on walks before and will need a gentle introduction.

  • Training needs

I have never lived in a home so I will need help to learn house training.

  • Medical issues

I have Grade 1 luxating patellas, which may improve with gentle exercise.

26-01-26 Zippy is a very sweet little boy who has come to us from a breeder to find his forever home. Zippy is a little worried when he first meets new people, but he is easy to handle and quickly shows what a gentle soul he is.

Once you spend a little time with him, Zippy’s cheeky little personality begins to shine through, and you can see there’s a loving boy waiting to blossom. He will be looking for a calm and quiet home where he can settle in at his own pace and build his confidence gently.

Zippy takes great comfort from other dogs and will need at least one other kind and confident resident dog in his new home to show him the way and help him feel safe. As he has never lived in a home before, he will need patient owners who can help him learn house training and all the basics of family life. He will also need to practise walking on a lead, starting in a secure garden, as everything is still very new to him.

Zippy could share his home with older, dog-savvy teenagers aged 13 and over, who can appreciate and understand that he will need a gentle, quiet introduction to the home and his own space to settle in.

With time, understanding and lots of love, we believe Zippy will make a truly wonderful companion and reward his new family with so much love.

Our vets have noted that Zippy has Grade 1 luxating patellas, this may improve with gentler exercise as he builds muscle, but will need to be monitored by his adopters. He also has a small umbilical hernia, but no action is required for this.

Zippy has a travel document.
