Zelly
08-02-26 Zelly is a very worried boy who has come to us from a breeder to find his forever home. He is quite overwhelmed to find himself here and for the first few days he was so worried that he didn't even want to eat, but now he is starting to settle in and is happy to eat. He is nervous of our intentions and clearly hasn't had much socialisation before, so will be looking for a calm and quiet, adult only home, with adopters who have experience of scared ex-breeding dogs.
Zelly gains confidence from his kennel friends and shows a clear preference for the presence of female dogs. For this reason, he will need a home with at least one other kind, confident resident female dog who can take him under her wing and help teach him about trust, kindness, and companionship.
As Zelly has never lived in a home before, his adopters will need to be patient and compassionate as he learns about house training. He doesn't know how to walk on a lead or harness yet and will need to practice first in a secure garden until he gains confidence to venture further. With time, reassurance, and gentle guidance, he will grow in confidence and become a wonderful companion.
Zelly has arrived with an underbite and will thrive in a home that can offer him the love, safety, and understanding he truly deserves.
Zelly has a travel document.
