  • Other pet requirements

I need a resident dog to help me feel safe. I've never met cats so I'm unsure!

  • House and garden requirements

I will need a quiet, secure garden while I get used to my new home.

  • Out and about requirements

I'm still getting used to my new life so a secure garden for me to explore is ideal.

  • Training needs

I have never lived in a home so I will need help to learn house training.

  • Medical issues

I am spayed and ready to find my forever home.

08-02-26 Wilma is a Schnauzer who has come into our care from a breeder in search of a new start. She is a touch-sensitive girl and is currently feeling very worried, although she is easy to handle and allows us to care for her. Wilma is still learning that people can be kind, and she will need time and patience to build trust.

Wilma will need another calm, confident dog in her new home, as this will be a much-needed support system for her and help her feel more secure as she settles in.

As Wilma has never lived in a home before, she will need to learn all about house training, lead training, and the general routines of everyday life. Everything will be new to her, so her adopters will need to go at her pace and celebrate the small milestones along the way.

We are looking for a quiet, adult-only home with previous ex-breeding dog experience, where Wilma can relax and settle into her new surroundings without too much hustle and bustle. A calm household with predictable routines, gentle handling, and plenty of reassurance will suit her best.

With the right environment, patience, and understanding, Wilma has the potential to grow in confidence and enjoy a peaceful, loving home where she can finally feel safe.

She has a PETS travel document.
