  • Human family requirements

I’d be happy with dog-savvy teenagers who respect my space.

  • Other pet requirements

I need a resident dog to help me feel safe. I've never met cats so I'm unsure!

  • House and garden requirements

I’m still shy, so I will need a secure garden while I get used to my new home.

  • Out and about requirements

I'm still getting used to my new life so a secure garden for me to explore is ideal.

  • Training needs

I need to learn lead training and house manners when I am settled into my new home.

  • Medical issues

    Please read my information below.

07-02-26 Whirly is a sweet Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who has come into our care from a breeder. She will approach us in the kennel and, although she is a little cautious, she is friendly and curious. Rather than running away, she tends to crouch low and watch, showing that she wants to engage but she just needs a little reassurance. She seems to be gaining more confidence each day and so we think she is going to blossom in no time.

Whirly gets on wonderfully with her kennel friends and takes comfort from their company, so she will need a kind resident dog in her new home to help guide her and provide the reassurance she needs as she settles in and finds her paws.

As Whirly has never lived in a home before, she will need to learn all about house training, lead training, and the everyday routines of home life.

Whirly could share her home with dog-savvy teenagers aged 13 and over, who can understand that she will need a calm, gentle introduction to the home and her own space to relax and adjust.

Our vets have noted that Whirly has abducted back legs as well as a cardiac arrhythmia. No action is required for these issues, but she will need to be monitored by her adopters and their vet. She has had 2 teeth extracted at the time of her spay.

She has a PETS travel document.

Whirly has been given the Gift of Life by Will Bithell
