Patty is a stunning lady who has come to us from a breeder. She is very touch-sensitive on arrival, despite already walking well on a lead, and we believe she may have been a loved pet at some point in her life. Patty initially runs from people and tries to hide, but once she is out and about on the lead, she comes to life and is much more accepting of fuss. She isn’t a big cuddler, but she loves attention in her own way—she will happily soak up affection when she chooses, especially after observing others getting fussed.

Patty loves her furry friends and gains confidence around them, so she will need a kind resident dog in her new home to help her settle and be her companion. Her ideal companion would be a medium-sized dog or larger, and ideally a male, as she is more comfortable with this. She enjoys playing, sniffing, and socialising with dogs of all sizes and personalities, showing just how playful and energetic she can be once she feels secure.

She will need patient and understanding adopters as she learns about house training and continues to gain handling experience. As she already walks well on a lead, she would love a nice, big garden where she can enjoy the outdoors and let her personality shine, as well as plenty of walks and outings once she has settled in. Patty requires a calm home where she can build trust and feel safe. She can live with quiet, older-dog-savvy teens aged 16 and over who allow her space as she settles, but she may also thrive in an adult-only home where she can grow in confidence at her own pace.

Patty arrived with us underweight and would benefit from a healthy, balanced diet (and plenty of tasty treats!) to help her return to a healthy weight. She is currently being treated for conjunctivitis in her left eye.

Patty is an amazing lady with a fantastic personality just waiting to shine. With her playful energy, curiosity, and affectionate moments, she simply needs someone to give her a chance and show her the love she deserves.
