Autumn
30-01-26 Autumn is an adorable girl who has come to us from a breeder and is a little more reserved than some of her kennel friends, but she has the sweetest, gentlest personality. She can be a little unsure around people at first and would thrive in a home that can patiently teach her about compassion, kindness, and trust.
Autumn is currently feeling a little overwhelmed and is taking this new journey in her stride. She would love a calm, reassuring family who can continue to build her confidence and help her feel safe in the world. She will need a kind, confident resident dog in her new home to help guide and support her as she settles into home life.
As she has never lived in a home before, her adopters will need to be patient and understanding as she learns about house training and walking on a lead. She has already began to walk on a harness and will need continued time and practice. With gentle guidance, love, and consistency, Autumn will blossom into a wonderful companion.
She can live with older, dog-savvy teens and is simply longing for a loving home she can finally call her own.
Autumn has a left Grade 1 patella luxation, which may improve with gentle exercise as her muscles continue to develop. She also has a slight abduction in her hind legs, which does not currently seem to cause her any discomfort. Both conditions should be monitored in her new home in case she requires treatment in the future. She has had 7 teeth extracted at the time of her spay and our vets noted that she was already missing several.
