Tara
10-02-26 Tara has come to us from a breeder and is now searching for her loving forever home. She is a wonderfully gentle girl with a sweet and affectionate nature, and she truly adores attention. Tara seems to love people and enjoys being around kind, caring humans who will give her plenty of reassurance and love.
Tara will be looking for a patient and understanding home where she can settle in at her own pace and continue to grow in confidence as she comes out of her shell even further. She will need her adopters to be understanding and have experience with ex-breeders as she is still a bit worried. She loves the company of other dogs and would like to have another kind and friendly resident dog in her new home to be her companion and provide comfort. We would consider homing her with old, dog savvy teenagers.
As Tara has never lived in a home before, her adopters will need to be kind, supportive, and understanding while she learns all about home life. She will need to learn new skills such as house training and will benefit from gentle guidance and a consistent routine. Tara is a beginner when it comes to walking on a lead, and we will continue practicing this with her, but we feel she would thrive in an active home where she can enjoy lots of walks, adventures, and time exploring the world with her new family.
With love, patience, and commitment, Tara has will blossom into a devoted and joyful companion who will bring so much happiness to her forever home.
Tara has a Grade 1 heart murmur, she doesn't require any medication for this but it is something her adopters and their vet will need to monitor. She has had a haematoma drained from her metacarpal joint and has had two mammary lumps removed. A fatty lump has been located during her most recent health check that has been advised to leave.
